Getting my shit together

I finally made some sort of travel plan. I will stay in buenos aires for another 2 weeks to go to a music festival where Black Keys, Pearl Jam, Queen of the Stone Age and lots more bands will play for 2 days. Then finally I'm leaving (6 april) to go to Iguazu falls up north in Argentina to get drained in water by the falls. After that I'll go to Brazil (Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro) to meet up with some friends. And then it's time to see the spectacular Machu Picchu in Peru!

The time here in BA has been amazing, the city sucks you in and it's hard to leave.. But after 2 months in Argentina it's about time to do some proper traveling yeah?!

got my yellow fever vaccination!

Cozy cafe

Sam telmo in BA has a lot of cool bars and cafes. But they are hard to find when most of them are hidden behind doors that looks just like a private residency. But when you do find them, baah it's magic!

St Patrick's in BA

Buenos aires is top 5 cities to celebrate st Patrick's day. With a big parade and a whole street full of Irish pubs my expectations was pretty high.

We missed the parade and it was very hard to get in to a pub. But it didn't matter, with good company and the spirit of Irish and Latinos it's impossible not to have an awesome and crazy night!

Spanish course: done!

After 2 weeks of intense studying, I now have a diploma in Spanish! I really learned a lot during these weeks and starting to be able to have some sort of normal conversations in Spanish. My teacher Alejandro is excellent and so is the school- Instituto de español Rayuela. Now all I have to do is practice, practice, practice by talking Spanish as much as possible. I love learning a new langue! Me gusta hablar español y me encanta Buenos Aires! Ay ay ay!

La bomba de tiempo

like i mentioned earlier, me and some friends from the hostel went to this weekly drum show called La Bomba de Tiempo. It's two acts, with different drums and rhythms. And every week is different because all of it is improvised. It's really nice, the atmosphere is really cool and people just go with the rhythm dancing and clapping. I like it a lot!

Hanging out with punks

Once again, sorry for the lack if updates. But it's so much going on and little time to sit down a write about it.

Anyway, I think a mentioned them before but I've been hanging out with these Argentinian and Colombian guys who's really into skate and rollers. They're cool guys and I fit right in with my passion for street art and punk music. It's really nice to meet people that you have something in common with, not just traveling.
So here's some pics from a day in one of BsAs many skateparks.
